BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police say a student was approached by a stranger twice Friday morning.

Police say the female student was walking from a bus from Ferry, down Fillmore and toward Northampton when a white work van approached her.

The van had a ladder on tap, windows on the passenger and driver doors, and green and orange stickers/logos.

According to police the driver was a black male around 30-years-old with a medium beard and medium high unkept hair, he was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up.

Police say the man asked the student's age the first time he pulled up and sped off when he received no response.

He then circled around again when the student then called her mother, the man drove off and the student continued to school and reported the incident to administration and police.
