BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The two Buffalo police officers who were seen allegedly shoving a protester to the ground were supposed to be due in court on Monday, but are now scheduled to appear in August.

Officers Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe are each facing felony assault charges after allegedly pushing 75-year-old Martin Gugino to the ground in June.

Each officer could see up to seven years in prison if convicted.

Neither officer is back in the field, but they've both been on the payroll for the last two weeks.
