BATAVIA, NY (WKBW-TV) — Rich Wagner plays every week at Mancuso's Bowling Center in Batavia with his team. Last week Rich threw two perfect 300 games in a row.

His third game was going great until his last throw "The last shot I left a six pin standing" Rich says. He finished the night with a score of 899. That's one point short of three perfect games in a row.

In the world of bowling the odds of throwing a 300 in a game is 11,500 to one. Rich has stacked up 43 perfect 300 games.

A score of 900 is so rare Rich says "I looked it up-there are only 36 people in the United States that have bowled a 900".

At first he was disappointed but then he says "When I started processing it a little bit-I realized what an accomplishment it was to get to that point and all the disappointment turned to joy and pride."

Rich says the best part was that his wife was there to cheer him on."She ran right up to me after that last shot and said I'm so proud of you".
