BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Yet another Bills street party may be on the way this weekend.

Both Rec Room and Soho Buffalo downtown have applied to host an outdoor viewing party on Chippewa Street for the AFC Championship game.

Both restaurants hosted a street party for the Wild Card game against the Indianapolis Colts, but not against the Ravens, since New York State guidelines would have forced them to shut down at halftime.

Under yellow zone restrictions, restaurants and bars have to close by 10:00 p.m.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says right now, he doesn't see why either business can't host again this weekend.

"We know that the game against the Indianapolis Colts they used the initiative very successfully, very safely, and the city is already reviewing their application," Mayor Brown said.

The AFC Championship game kicks off Sunday at 6:40 p.m. EST at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
