WEST CLARKSVILLE, NY (WKBW-TV) — Eric Jones likes carving things but he does have certain criteria. He says "I actually prefer carving things that are temporary. Sand, snow, ice. I'm more interested in the process."

A couple of years ago he started carving pumpkins and it's kept him busy, especially this time of year, ever since.

These are no "jack-o-lanterns". Eric creates 3-D masterpieces on the face of the pumpkins. Lately he's been doing virtual pumpkin carving and it's kept him busy. He says "I have four virtual events to do today."

Eric just competed on the Food Network and his team came in second place. He says "We lost by one vote. The experience far out-weighs the competition."

Carving pumpkins may be relatively new for him but Eric has been a caricature artist for twenty-five years.

You can track him down at his websiteor for virtual experiences at this website.
