NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A plan that would allow the City of Niagara Falls to cash in on tourists was passed by the city council last night.

The council is now asking the state to approve additional fees for parking and park attractions. The plan was designed to help Niagara Falls raise revenue to help fill a budget gap.

The increases amount to:

  • $5 more for cars
  • $20 more for buses
  • $2 more for park attractions
