CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 29-year-old man was killed in a crash on Sunday evening in Cheektowaga.
According to the Cheektowaga Police Department's Accident Investigation Unit, the man's motorcycle collided with a car driven by a 51-year-old man at the corner of Genesee Street and Stratford Place just after 6 p.m.
Police say the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, and died at the scene. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries. He received treatment at ECMC.
The motorcyclist's name has not been released by police because officers are in the process of notifying his family. The driver of the car has not been charged. The accident is still under investigation.
