Get ready Western New York, it is festival season.
Friday both the Greek Festival and The *BASH kick off a weekend and summer full of fun.
If you're looking to get your souvlaki on, Buffalo Greek Fest starts Friday at 5 p.m. and goes until midnight. If you can't make it out Friday the festival runs all weekend, open 11:00 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is the 40th year the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (146 West Utica Street, Buffalo NY) is hosting the event.

Also Friday, the annual *BASH supporting the American Red Cross (786 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo NY). In 2015 the event raised more than $300,000 for Western New York. Annually, the Red Cross responds to on average a fire a day. The organization supports local families with housing, clothing, food and any other supplies they may need. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the event goes until midnight.
Tickets are still available for The *BASH. Admission to the Greek Festival is $2.
