The Buffalo Sabres are finally starting to get healthy.

Wednesday the Sabres announced that Evander Kane, who has missed several weeks after suffering cracked ribs in the Sabres seson opener, will return into the lineup at home against the Ottawa Senators.

Kane scored 35 points (20G, 15A) in 65 games with the Sabres last season.

Bove's take:

Getting Kane back is huge for the team and their depth up front. The Sabres have been very streaky on offense this year and adding a top six forward back into the mix will only help. Kane has a knack for getting chances, but at times struggles to finish the. Even if Kane is not 100% he has more talent than a lot of players on the roster. I expect him to play about 15 minutes and test things out before getting an expanded role - but he should get time on the Sabres second power play right from the start.
