Former Erie County health inspector to be sentenced Thursday for faking restaurant inspections

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Former Erie County health inspector Timothy Bean is expected to be sentenced for faking more than two dozen restaurant inspections in 2018.

The 49-year-old plead guilty to 14 misdemeanor counts of official misconduct.

The 7 Eyewitness News I-Team first broke this story, and told you about Bean's fallout.

Bean resigned from his position in December 2018.

He is expected to be sentenced at 9:30 Thursday morning at Erie County Court in Buffalo.
