A new study predicts consumers will spend more than $930 each this season.
The National Retail Federation also says 43% of buyers will be more cautious about how much they spend during the holidays. One reason is because of the uncertainty of the presidential election and the impact it could have on the economy.
Retail sales in November and December are expected to increase about 3.6% to $655.8 billion. Online sales are forecast to increase between 7% and 10%. For more information on the consumer survey, click here.
