As brand senior vice president of New Era Cap, Mark Maidment wears a few hats. “I come in ready to do an excellent job and I come in knowing it's going to be an interesting day, every day,” Maidment explained.

He oversees all marketing and product development for North America. “It's at the heart of sport and sport culture. But, it's also at the heart of street culture as well. So, you get this clash of the two things and that's unique and very exciting,” he said.

Maidment is from London. He uprooted his wife and two sons for the job here in buffalo in 2015, and he said he hasn't looked back. “We love how big the city can feel but also how small and personal it is. People are proud. Restaurants are opening. People are incredibly friendly.” “We love everything about it. We love the sport culture here. So, we're having a fantastic time,” he concluded.
