AAA is looking to save lives with a few hires

AAA Western and Central New York is looking to hire driving instructors in Buffalo and Rochester!

AAA Teen Driver Education reduces teen driving accidents and saves lives. AAA's exclusive driver training program provides 30 hours of classroom instruction and 10 45-minute behind-the-wheel lessons one-on-one with a certified driving instructor. Plus, many local area high schools have chosen to partner with AAA to offer high-quality driver education. That means we need more instructors!

Qualified candidates must be able to communicate effectively to students of all ages. Knowledge of traffic safety/traffic laws and teaching/training background is preferred, but not necessary. Sign-on bonus for experienced candidates with MV-524 certification that have completed the 30-hour basic course.

In-Car Driving Instructors:

* Involves the delivery of AAA curriculum to novice drivers in a behind-the-wheel setting on weeknights and/or weekends during the school year, mornings and afternoons during the summer.

* Minimum of 1 year experience in Driver Education and and/or Traffic Safety is preferred, but not required.

* Candidates must have good time management skills and be able to work independently. They must be at least 21 years old with a clean and valid NYS driver's license. A background check will be performed (including DMV).
