AUSTRALIA (WKBW) — More than 200 wildfires are raging across the nation of Australia, prompting states of emergency and calls for help.

At least 23 people are dead, and over 500 million animals are dead as well, according to Australian officials.

Celebrities like actor Russell Crowe had to skip events like the Golden Globes, to help people in his home country.
