It's a group of retired guys that knows more than a thing or two about the most important meal of the day. Neighbors for forty years in Orchard Park, they have been getting together just about once a week for breakfast for the past nine years.

Don Grieco, Norm Hornung and Tony Mikulec have made it to two hundred eight-one different local restaurants in the nines years since they started. We caught up with them at Roosters in Lackawanna. The weekly breakfasts were the idea of they're friend Bob Barone. Bob passed away last October. Tony says"we miss him and we carry on-I'm confident we're going to make it to three hundred restaurants no problem at all."

They have developed a few guidelines, for instance; they don't go to national chain restaurants, they have to be back home by noon and the place has to be an hour or less from their home in Orchard Park. Somewhere alonfg they way they started tacking on a post breakfast field trip. They have visited construction sites, museums, parks and markets all across Western New York.

They are always looking for homemade hash, a group favorite and always split the check. And listen up servers, if you see this breakfast club at your restaurant, keep in mind according to Tony "we always leave a nice tip."
