Another hockey tournament is coming to Buffalo. This time it's the 2016 Ice Sledge Hockey Pan Pacific championships.

The puck drops for the first time Tuesday at 3 p.m. and goes until Saturday.

"You think about where the sport started and where it is now it's definitely grown," USA goaltender Steve Cash said. and I think given that we keep the tradition going...keep that exposure alive that it'll only grow from here

Cash played in last years I.I.H.F. World Sledge Hockey Championships held in Buffalo, a tournament organizers said was a huge success.

"As far as exposure goes you think about our proximity to Canada, here in Buffalo. It allows for more people to come across the border and check out the sport."
