Do you have family in the Carolinas or Texas? It may soon be easier for you to see them.
Frontier Airlines announced this morning it will offer non-stop flights to Raleigh, North Carolina and Austin, Texas starting this spring.
The flights will be seasonal and be offered twice a week beginning in April. Seasonal flights from Buffalo to Denver will also launch at that time and will be available four times a week.
The two new destinations announced today show Frontier's confidence in the Buffalo-Niagara market, which also draws a considerable amount of flyers from Southern Ontario. The no-frills discount carrier began service in Buffalo just two months ago with daily service to Orlando, three flights a week to Miami and Ft. Myers, and four weekly flights to Tampa.
Fares on Frontier include one personal carry-on bag that must fit under the seat in front of you. Everything else, such as additional carry-on bags, checked luggage and reserved seating, are additional costs.
