A Buffalo church spent Labor Day handing out sneakers to kids in need.
True Bethel Baptist Church collected 718 pairs of sneakers to give away. The church then took to the streets in its donation bus to make sure local kids got the shoes they needed before the start of the school year.
Pastor Darius Pridgen said the church worked with the Ellicott District and also gave away school supplies.
