55-year-old Billie Becker of East Aurora was sentenced to serve 4 to 12 years in prison for stealing $4.1 million from Towne Automotive Group. Becker was employed as the company's comptroller, overseeing its finances for eight years.
In March, Becker pleaded guilty to Grand Larceny in the First Degree and Criminal Tax Fraud in the Third Degree.
Over a seven-year span, from 2009 to 2016, Becker admitted to stealing millions of dollars to purchase and care for expensive show horses and play an online video game.
Becker has already paid back a little more than $1 million to the auto group. The judge's sentence requires Becker to finish paying back the other $3 million starting two months after she is released from prison.
