Flags at New York State buildings will fly at half-staff Tuesday to honor a Western New York Air Force member and mother of two.

25-year-old Dansville native Alexandria Mae Morrow died in Southwest Asia Wednesday, March 22nd.  A press release from Governor Cuomo's Office said she died in a non-combat related incident in Southwest Asia.  The Governor said Morrow was supporting combat operations at the time.

"On behalf of all New Yorkers, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Morrow and join in honoring her service to our nation," Governor Cuomo said. "I am directing flags to be flown at half-staff tomorrow at all state buildings to pay tribute to her courage and sacrifice in defending the freedoms this state and this nation were founded upon."
