The Central Terminal is the place to be for bikers this weekend, as the Inaugural Central Terminator Race and Festival kicks off Friday evening, and runs throughout the weekend.
The celebration starts with a Friday night party that has a DJ, music, artists and a fashion show. Saturday there will be a farmers' market, beer garden, food trucks, and bike safety classes. There will also be bike races that take riders around and even through parts of the terminal.
Anyone is invited to come check out the event, and organizers are hoping the festival will bring people from a number of communities together.
"That's part of the reason behind this race. The reason we picked this spot. It's because there's different parts of WNY that are separated from each other, and the bike is a really great thing to rally around and really have some fun with," explained organizer Rebecca Reilly.
