Buffalo's new children's hospital is a step closer to opening for business. Officials from Women and Children's Hospital and Kaleida Health looked on as the final steel beams were placed atop the new John R. Oishei Children's Hospital Monday.
The new location will replace the current site on Bryant Street when it opens in 2017.
As for the Bryant Street location, the city has already issued a request for proposal for that space.
