A man has been arrested for the assault of 22-month-old Devyn Grabowski back in October, according to his parents.
The family tells 7 Eyewitness News that 25-year-old Marcell Brooks was taken into custody on Tuesday for the assault. He is currently at the Erie County Holding Center.
According to family, Devyn was in the care of Brooks, who is known to the family, at the time of the assault. Devyn suffered serious brain and spinal damage.
Brooks is charged with assault and reckless assault of a child.
