A Niagara Falls toddler is fighting for his life at Women's and Children's Hospital, and his parents say the person watching their little boy "seriously injured him."

22-month-old Devyn Grabowski is in critical condition. He has serious brain damage and spinal damage, and has been sedated ever since the accident happened two weeks ago.

His parents, who are not together, say he was in the care of another family member's friend when the accident happened.

His mother tells me someone did this to her son, and justice will be served. His father spoke to us this evening. He says he doesn't believe the story he was told about his son falling down three stairs.

"From the get go, I did not believe it," Jeffrey Grabowski said. "With my son having this much damage falling down three stairs is not going to do this much damage to anyone."

The father tells that that doctors have told him and Devyn's mother that if he comes out of this he may never walk again or may have serious problems with speech and sight. He tells us that Devyn's condition is really touch and go at this point.

A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help Devyn and his family.
