Erie and Niagara Counties dropping rabies bait

You might see health workers dropping rabies bait by hand on Monday.  It comes as both Erie and Niagara Counties are using small planes and a helicopter to drop bait as well.

The baits are meant to be eaten by wildlife raccoons and bats. Uneaten baits naturally dissolve within a week.

They're not harmful to your pets but should still be avoided.
