You might see health workers dropping rabies bait by hand on Monday. It comes as both Erie and Niagara Counties are using small planes and a helicopter to drop bait as well.
The baits are meant to be eaten by wildlife raccoons and bats. Uneaten baits naturally dissolve within a week.
They're not harmful to your pets but should still be avoided.
