A nurse at ECMC has been arrested on charges that he raped and sexually abused someone in his care.
Jordan Donalson, 23, is accused of having sex with a female patient at the hospital.
Donalson, of Clarence Center, is a Licensed Practical Nurse at ECMC. A Special Prosecutor with the Justice Center for the Protection of People With Special Needs says Donalson's alleged victim was receiving care at ECMC, and wasn't capable of consenting to the sexual conduct.
Special Prosecutor Patricia Gunning went on to say, "For a licensed professional to abuse their position of authority for sexual gratification, as the defendant in this case is alleged to have done, is reprehensible."
Donalson was arraigned in front of Judge Penny Wolfgang in State Supreme Court. He faces a number of charges, including third degree rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and forcible touching.
