Dog reunited with owner in South Buffalo

National Fuel was called to a housing complex in South Buffalo, Thursday night. Many on some side streets, that haven't been plowed, were concerned about exposure to carbon monoxide and gas.

While National Fuel crews weren't able to find any leaks or exposure, they cleared external vents of snow as a precaution.

As crews were looking for leaks, a man was trudging through a narrow path, cut through the snow. Gabriele Kemna had a dog following him. That dog wasn't his.

Kemna found the dog while he was walking home. It was off a leash but had tags.

7 Eyewitness News called the phone number on the tag and let the dog's owner know the dog had been found.   Chirs Burger, the owner, quickly came to rescue his dog.

Ed Drantch was there for the happy reunion. Watch the video for more.
