A Springville man is under arrest after police say he assaulted his disabled elderly neighbor.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office says 39-year-old Jeremy Bieber assaulted the 65-year-old man in his apartment building on North Buffalo Street in the Village of Springville. The man says Bieber stole his keys and bit him around 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Detectives found Bieber at another apartment where they say he resisted arrest. One sheriff's deputy was injured as he tried to take Bieber into custody.
Bieber is now charged with robbery, assault, criminal mischief, larceny and resisting arrest.
