BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Kaleida Health announced Wednesday a second case of COVID-19 was confirmed at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Kaleida said the second confirmed case is a 71-year-old woman who is an inpatient at the hospital.
No further details were released. Details were also limited Tuesday when the first confirmed case was announced.
The patient from the first confirmed case has since been treated and released and is home.
Kaleida Health suspended all visitation at all adult and long-term care sites Wednesday, except when deemed medically necessary. Pediatric patients and laboring women are permitted one visitor at the hospital.
All individuals that are permitted into a facility are screened.
