Original: Two of the three missing kayakers have been found safe Tuesday morning after crews searched Lake Ontario overnight. We're told the two missing men were found by Orleans County Sheriff's deputies.
One of the kayakers was brought to the boat launch, where crews are staging, to search for the third kayaker.
Our crew at the scene reports at least one of the two kayakers was wearing a wetsuit. He was carrying two life jackets with him.
Town of Somerset Police said family members of the kayakers -- three men ages 18, 21 and 21 -- called to report them as missing. The three were last seen paddling into the lake from Golden Hill State Park in Barker.
Coast Guard officials said the men are believed to have been wearing life jackets. Their phones were located inside a car at the park.
The Coast Guard was notified around 6:30 p.m. It dispatched two boats -- one from Youngstown, one from Rochester -- to assist in search efforts. They said helicopters would be used as soon as weather conditions allowed.
The Canadian Coast Guard, Olcott Police Department and Olcott Fire Department also aided in the search.
Tuesday morning, search and rescue crews moved the command center from the Barker Fire Department to the boat launch itself, where those kayakers were last seen.
Niagara County deputies tell 7 Eyewitness News, firefighters are preparing for a possible shoreline search come daybreak. Firefighters will be looking for any sign of life from these three men, including cigarette butts, soda cans or candy bar wrappers. These firefighters are specially trained to search for signs of life.
The kayakers have not been identified.
