If you'd like to plant a tree this spring, you can pick up a free one Wednesday in Buffalo's Niagara Square.

The City of Buffalo is partnering with the National Arbor Foundation and Cornell Cooperative Extension.  They'll be giving away 500 trees in two-gallon pots.  Organizers say the trees are easily transported, and there are maples, oaks, birch, red bud and hackberry trees.

The tree giveaway is one way the City of Buffalo is celebrating Earth Month.
