Update: A five year-old's death after falling down a flight of stairs inside his Buffalo home has been ruled an accident.
An autopsy was conducted by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office.
Officers responded to the call around 1:45 p.m. on Monday in the first block of Gallatin Avenue.
Police say the child was taken to Oishei Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are trying to determine if the incident is accidental in nature.
