CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) - The long-awaited Cheektowaga Chick-fil-A should break ground next week.
Cheektowaga Councilman James Rogowski says the project's development manager confirmed that construction equipment should start to arrive at the site on Monday.
Rogowski also says the building department needs to conduct a pre-construction meeting to sit down with the developer to work out the necessary permits and hope to have the meeting next Tuesday.
Chick-fil-a told 7 Eyewitness News back in January that they hope to have the grand opening in the 4th quarter of 2018.
Rogowski says the town expects many people to visit the location and is ready to accommodate the crowds in the area.
