Chick-fil-A says it will open it's first Western New York restaurant in late 2018. In a statement to 7 EWN a spokesperson says the popular fast food chain hopes to have a grand opening for the Cheektowaga restaurant in the 4th quarter of this year.
The Georgia-based franchise will be located at 1753 Walden Avenue at the former Famous Dave's, about a half mile from the Walden Galleria, across the street from the Target Plaza.
“Chick-fil-A is excited to open in Cheektowaga, New York, with a projected 4th quarter 2018 grand opening.", said Brenda Morrow, Manager, External Communications, Chick-fil-A, Inc.
"We look forward to sharing details about the confirmed opening date, hiring and grand opening events in the future."
On the possibility of a second Chick-fil-A location in Amherst Morrow shared the following.
"We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. While we hope to be able to serve the Amherst community in the future, we do not currently have any locations to confirm."
