A Mayville man is facing charges of sexual misconduct.
Charles Heilman was arrested by deputies after an investigation that alleged he had unlawfully interacted with a child.
Heilman was arraigned at the Town of Chautauqua court and was sent to jail. His bail was set at $2,000.
