Carly's Club helps kids celebrate Christmas

Posted

More than 100 kids who have battled pediatric cancer gathered to celebrate the holiday season at Carly's Club Christmas party last night.  The event was organized by Roswell Park.

The kids danced the night away and did arts and crafts.  They say it's things like that that make the party so special.

"It's a place where I can have fun and forget that that like I'm not a normal kid and I can't like do normal things like ride a bike right now," explained Stella Usiak, who is a patient.

Organizers say more than 550 patients at Roswell Park participate in Carly's Club, which is a support program for those diagnosed with pediatric cancer.
