The driver involved in an ATV crash that left his passenger with a serious head injury is now facing DWI charges.
The crash happened Christmas night on Versailles Plank Road on the Seneca Nation of Indians. When Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrived, the 39-year-old female passenger was treated for a serious head injury and later was transported to Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight.
The ATV operator, Lee Jimerson, 32, of the Seneca Nation, was charged with speeding and DWI.
The crash remains under investigation.
