Jonathan Reed from Elba is facing several counts of rape in two different towns. During a court appear on Thursday June 9, Reed's attorney failed to show up.
Reed, 22, appeared in Lancaster court after a sex crimes investigation that started with Reed's adopted father and mother led to his arrest.
Reed is facing charges in the Town of Perry, where he is accused of having sexual contact with two girls, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old.
Reed is charged with several counts of second degree rape, second degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child in the Town of Perry.
He's also charged with second degree rape, third degree rape and third degree criminal sexual act in the Town of Lancaster.
