Amazon will hold its Buffalo job fair Wednesday, August 2nd at Salvatore's Italian Restaurant.
The company announced this week that it would be hiring 50,000 employees across the country, and one of the locations would be in Western New York.
The hiring event is part of the company's first-ever Amazon Jobs Day. From 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, Amazon associates will be speaking with interested candidates at Salvatore's on Transit Road in Depew.
Interested candidates should check-in upon arrival, and bring necessary employment documentation for an on-site application process. The company says it's prepared to make thousands of on-the-spot offers to qualified candidates across the country that day.
