The suspected getaway driver in an Anchor Bar shooting has been dismissed of his murder charges.
The judge dismissed the charges on the basis of insufficient evidence.
The shooting on May 20 killed thirty-two-year-old Freddie Dizon, who investigators say was targeted.
"We are surprised and disappointed by the ruling of the Couny Court and have already made arrangements to re-present the case to an Erie County Grand Jury," said District Attorney Michael Flaherty. "We are confident that we will prevail at trial and justice will be served."
