They are a big, noisy Italian family and proud of it. For more almost sixty years, they have continued the Cataract City's iconic sub shop, Viola's. There are no wings or pizza on the menu. They do what they have always done best. Just subs.

While a lot of great food comes out of the kitchen, the number one seller for a very long time has been the steak and cheese sub. Daughter of the original owners, Sarah Gregory says "it's just something that people come and taste and say they have never tasted anything so flavorful."

Mark Snyder now lives in California, but every year he comes back home for a visit and says "before we get to our destination we stop here for the steak and cheese sub."

The secret to Viola's success harkens back to old fashioned values: hard work and family, according to Sarah "we were blessed to have parents that taught us that if you work hard and stay firm with family, anything will work."

Viola's have two locations: 1717 Elmwood Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14301 and 1539 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304
