Those with the American Red Cross are hoping that soon changes.
Donating blood takes about six minutes; the whole process, paperwork included, takes less than an hour.

Friday, 7 Eyewitness News and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive at the Main Place Mall in Buffalo from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
