Lenny Potwora says that his popular Film Festival began with having a few friends over to the house to watch his 3 Stooges videos, but eventually "it got too big for the house so we decided to go public with it." That was twenty-six years ago and Lenny has been presenting his 3 Stooges Film Festival at the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda ever since.
The Stooges may harken back to the Golden Age of comedy, but Lenny says the films appeal to all age groups including kids and seniors and everyone in between adding "we have a 94-year old WWII vet who is going to be there.
The 26th Annual Three Stooges Film Festival is Saturday, August 26th at 7:30pm at The Riviera Theatre. Things get started at 7pm with an organ concert and a stand-up comic.
