Can you believe it's been 10 years since Western New York was hit with the October Storm?

The wet, heavy snow caused wide-spread destruction, knocking down 30,000 trees, and leaving 400,000 people without power for days.  In the decade since the storm, Re-Tree WNY has been working to plant trees to replace the ones that were damaged.  As of Wednesday, October 11th, the organization's website said it had planted 28,112.
