Dessert galore!
Can you handle a milkshake stacked with cupcakes, cookies, candy and marshmallows?
Well, Jerk's Soda Fountain and Ice Cream is scooping up super sweet concoctions right here in Downtown Buffalo.
The shop, located on 523 Main Street, opened up in April of last year.
Owner John Volpe got the idea after seeing the fun shakes in only two places.
"I noticed that a place in New York City and a place in Singapore had them. And in my opinion, theirs were a little messy. The shake was coming out of the glass and poured on top of the treats. So I started creating it...and made a neater version." said Volpe.
Right now, there are five varieties:
- Birthday Bash (best-seller)
- S'more of that
- Bitchin' Brownie
- Funky Monkey
- Over the Rainbow

Jerk's still serves traditional cone and cup ice cream for the less adventurous.
Another unique creation are their Jerkos Nachos -- have three scoops of your favorite flavors on a bed of warm, crispy nachos and drenched in limitless toppings.
Next year, Jerk's will have a full line of vegan ice cream!
