BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear," words from Buddy the Elf in the Christmas Classic Elf by Warner Brothers Productions.

Christmas music helps put people into the Holiday spirit, Jeff Berchou, Holiday Pops concert-goer said. The 73 full-time member Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has started their Holiday concert series.

Conducted by John Morris Russell, the Orchestra plays many Christmas songs people are familiar with but adds a twist and something new to each rendition, Caroline Gilbert, Principal Violist said.

There are two more Holiday Pops shows December 15th & 16th and then the BPO will provide the music for The Nutcracker Ballet at Shea's December 22nd & 23rd.
