BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Monday is National S'Mores Day and with it comes the opportunity to take advantage of some deals.
Just for Monday, The Girl Scouts of Western New York will give away a free package of Girl Scout cookies with any purchase made from the Girl Scouts of Western New York.
You can pick up the cookies curbside between 1 and 4 p.m. at the following locations
- Buffalo Service Center, 3332 Walden Ave., Suite 106, Depew
- Jamestown Service Center, 2661 Horton Rd., Jamestown
- Lockport Service Center, 5000 Cambria Rd., Lockport
In addition, a local ice cream shop is also celebrating National S'Mores Day, while benefiting a good cause.
Churn Ice Cream on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo is selling pints of s'mores ice cream for $10.
Half of the proceeds goes to Camp Good Days.
The organization had to cancel it's biggest fundraiser this year because of COVID-19, so this is a way to make up for it.
