Have a hot date for Valentine's Day? You can park for free on your lunch or dinner date in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you have a lunch or a dinner date in the City of Buffalo for Valentine's Day, you'll be able to save some money on parking.

Mayor Byron Brown, Buffalo City Council President Darius Pridgen and Councilmembers say that users of the Buffalo Roam Mobile Parking Payment App will be able to park for free on their lunch or dinner dates.

Free parking applies to any user of the app at hourly metered locations between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

If you haven't signed up for the Buffalo Roam app, you'll receive the free parking deal on Valentine's Day in addition to $2.14 off your next parking session through the end of February.

New users can enter the validation code '716716' to receive $2.14 off for a one-time parking session through February 29th.
