BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Celebrating is 12th year, the Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament is back at Riverworks.

Puck drops at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15th. Games are played Saturday from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

More than 900 players from 130 teams will face off in one of the most sought-after tournaments in the region. Teams even travel from other states and countries to participate!

This year, a skills competition has been added to the event where players will compete in shootouts, fastest slapshot, skating and more. The event is more than just hockey.
