BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Summer in Western New York is coming in with a blast.

We've got summer-themed events you'll be able to to taste and see across the area.

11th Annual BBQ & Blues Bash

Can you smell the food grilling from Buffalo River Fest Park already?! This BBQ should get your mouth watering. There will be enough live entertainment to get your foot tappin' as well. The BBQ will go from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $25. You can find more information here.

Friday Fireworks Kayak Tour

From land to water. Explore Buffalo will be hosting a unique kayak tour on the Buffalo River at twilight. Kayakers will be able to watch fireworks light up the sky from the comfort of their vessel. Interested kayakers will meet at Elevator Alley Kayak at The Barrel Factory on Vandalia Street. You can find more info here.

Brews for Buffalo Autism Project

You can wet your whistle while giving back to a good cause Saturday. The Hamburg Brewing Company is teaming up with the Buffalo Autism Project to provide you with food, brews and awesome entertainment. Proceeds for the event will benefit Buffalo Autism Project. This event runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $10.

Night Nation Run Buffalo

The Outer Harbor will be packed with runners who want to get a night jog in while jamming out to music Saturday. The Night Nation Run dubs itself as the first running music festival in the world. Kerfuffle

Reign in the summer by spending some time outside and rocking out to bands like Walk the Moon and Atlas Genius. Alternative Buffalo's Kerfuffle will take place at Canalside Friday. Tickets start at $35. You can find a list of bands performing on stage at Canalside here.

Ride for Roswell

This event has raised millions of dollars for cancer research. Bicyclists will team up and ride through the streets of Amherst to help researchers stop a horrible disease that affects many Western New Yorkers every year. Strawberry Moon Festival

Here's another outdoor event where you can soak in the summer vibes. Enjoy some brews and jam out to the Sam Roberts band at Artpark Saturday. The Strawberry Moon Festival will go from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets here.
